  1. The MEME this week is related to Margvelashvili’s unexpected arrival in Parliament during the ratification of the EU association agreement. Earlier during the day, MPs from Georgian Dream said that Margvelashvili would not be coming. The head of the Human Rights Committee, Eka Beselia, said that even the parliament “cannot fit everyone.” When the president entered the session hall and greeted MPs, he loudly asked Beselia, “did we all fit?” The comment made everyone around laugh and was the subject of jokes throughout the day. 2. Wow, what a very enlightening Podcast, especially with that other guy. Maybe next week you can go and sit by the Ronald Reagan statue and get more dialogue and opinion….
What I find amusing that both of you agree that all the crimes that Misha and his chums are accused of, were probably perpetrated, but it is best just to move on, and you compared Jerry Ford’s pardon of Dick Nixon’s crimes as an example. Ehhhh, sorry, Dick did a lot of bad things but he didn’t order or oversee the execution or facilitate murders, and the aftermath, or use the USA as his personal ATM.
I agree with the UN that the Georgian people deserve to see at least their cases heard, and ruled upon.
I say. the USA paid off senators, claiming foul, should check out what Croatia did recently when they tried and found guilty of one of their own, Ivo Sandader, just before they entered the EU and under their watch during the process.
