  1. The MEME this week is some crazy stuff Georgian Dream member of parliament Soso Jachvliani said on the 21st of July during a session. He was saying: “I never go to EBRD because I am a faithful husband…” Confusing the EBRD with ‘ibiardi,’ the Georgian word for brothel. Link: http://bit.ly/1Ly8BDC

For National Geographic, Paul Salopek’s ‘Out of Eden’ walk across the globe brings him to Georgia, where he’s taking a small summer break. And immediately notices that on the sidewalks, Georgians tend to take up a lot of space. Link: http://bit.ly/1gQFAGC

  2. Okay, okay, I have an excuse on Andorra. This is a deep (not dark) secret, but every single time I turn on TBLPOD I fall asleep at least once during the broadcast. This is not a criticism! I think the content is great. But Mark, there is something about your voice that I think you should bottle, you must be wonderful with small children at nap time. So anyway I missed Andorra and the Ruthenians and whatever else was going on, my bad.
